Eluanbi (Chinese: 鵝鑾鼻; pinyin: Éluánbí; Wade-Giles: O-luan-pi; Taiwanese POJ: Gô-lôan-phīⁿ; loosely: Goose beak) is located on the southernmost point of the Taiwan Central Mountain Range, also known as Ngoluanpi. Facing toward the Luzon Strait, it is also the southernmost cape of Taiwan. The name "Eluan" derives from Goran, as means "Sail" coming from Paiwan language of Paiwan people which is one of the Taiwanese aborigines. And, the name "Bi" means nose in Chinese, for the shape of the "Cape" is like a nose. There is a lighthouse situated on the Eluanbi cape, called Eluanbi Light. See also
