Hsinchu County is a county in northwestern Taiwan. It is officially administered as a county of Taiwan. The population is mainly Hakka; there is a Taiwanese aboriginal minority in the southeastern part of the county.

Administration

Hsinchu County controls one township-level city (縣轄市), three urban townships (鎮), and nine rural townships (鄉).
