UKTV Food (originally UK Food) is a television channel broadcasting in the United Kingdom as part of the UKTV network of channels. Its programmes were initially aired on UKTV Style, however UK Food was launched on 5 November 2001. UKTV Food is available on Sky Digital and Virgin Media. Programming from UKTV Food will be available on digital terrestrial television via the Top Up TV Anytime service. A timeshifted "+1", UKTV Food +1 service is also available on Sky and Virgin. The channel has a similar content to BBC Worldwide's BBC Food service.

Recipes come from the various shows on UKTV Food and some include videos taken from the demonstrations. In September 2006 UKTV Food's website overtook the BBC Food site in popularity for the first time, achieving a 10% market share, against the 9.63% the BBC Food site dropped to, having held the top spot since it began.[1] References
